Extra bandwidth is available at a cost of £1.76 inclusive per Gigabyte (GB) over and above your monthly allowance. Capacity Based Charging is specific to download usage rather than speed. Both download and upload speeds are determined by the maximum rate your line is able to support hence the reason 1Mbps and 8Mbps are similarly priced.
Telephone lines which do not meet broadband provisioning guidelines (ie quality and/or length) may still be able to receive a 1Mbps service. Hi-Velocity will notify you of this during testing.
