Hi-Velocity Fair Usage Policy (FUP) introduced
ADSL Home - from unlimited to FUP
From the very beginning Hi-Velocity has remained committed to providing high-quality broadband internet access with unlimited bandwidth at no extra cost even as BT introduced a capacity based charging model back in 2004. Since then, ADSL speeds have increased together with a multitude of products, services and entertainment material now available on the internet and as a result, provision of truly unlimited bandwidth at standard residential prices is potentially non-profitable. For those residential customers on ADSL Home products with usage patterns tentatively in excess of 60GB per month, Hi-Velocity reserves the right to contend your service with other users of a similar usage pattern or to offer a tailored package which better suits both the needs of Hi-Velocity and the customer. Hi-Velocity provides a user portal for all customers so that they can check their usage as and when they need to. This can be accessed at
portal.hi-velocity.net using your ADSL username and password to login. The full detail of Hi-Velocity's Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is available for inspection on this site, please visit the link
FUP displayed at the bottom of each page.
